Reviews for "Playing With Matches [Katia]"

You know what's bullshit?

A lot of the stuff with the score below 1-- it's extremely underrated, just like this. Why on Earth do people ruin the reputation of those wonderful pieces? Only a few pieces with a score less than 1 actually deserve that score. This, on the other hand, is a wonderful piece.

A little comment

I think you can weaken the drum kits and re-inforce the atmosphere of the piece by using strings. But anyway, it should have been voted with mostly 4/5's or 5/5's.
As CalculusNova said, "I was simply going through all of the below 1.0 ranked songs to see which beautiful masterpieces were marked down by incompetent listeners (or lack there of), and I came across this one."
Keep up the good work.

Respect.

Such a sad fate really...

(NOTE: A LITTLE UNNECESSARY STUFF. Only read if interested)

(ACTUAL REVIEW)
Now, when first listening to this piece, I was a little thrown by the start, as there was no thrust that would make someone interested (which I suspect is the culprit to your low grade), but listening further, it revealed itself to be much more than that. I personally haven't heard of the original song before, so I am of no census of being biased, so I will try to make this as square as possible.

The music is thoroughly laid out for us and displayed to serenely. The melody is so enchanting as the instruments just flow so nicely with each other. The subtle to abrupt changes in rhythm are set up so sublimely and quite pleasantly put that it nearly reaps into a persons sub-conscience and reveals to them an near innermost secret. I will have to say that at some points the flute feels out of tone, but certainly not to any degree that should put many people off. I personally like more beat in my song, or for purposely mellow song, to have more passion or accent with the instrument playing it, but what is done so far is adequate.

-Final Readings-
Score: 3.70/5 (4/5)
Review: 7.75/10 (8/10)

I think both my personal feeling and my unbiased sentiment is relatively close with one another on this one.

Hm. I seem to be confusing people...it's an original piece, part of a suite that I'm writing, not something I remixed. But thank you, either way.

how are people thinking?

I don't understand why people vote 0 on good music like this...
i voted 4 ..
Maybe people just lissens the first seconds .. hm..
Keep up the good work!

Never heard of that

Fallen Seven Suite? So you made a remix of this song? Hmm a depressing song. Thanks for making my day sad..just kidding. You show the emotion very well. The slow tempo of the song only increases the mournful mood up a notch. A awesome classical, however I'm not sure how to grade you. If you made a remix than I give you 9/10 review and if you made this completely than 10/10 review. I'm assuming the latter so 10/10 and 5/5 voting. Take a quick listen to my somewhat classical song "Music story for you" please. Thanks

A remix? I wasn't under the impression that there was already a "Fallen Seven" in existence. Anyways, nice to hear that someone likes it - it is to my belief completely my own work.
