Reviews for "Listeria Wars"

what did that doctor put in me

MrRubel responds:

Haha, he performs surgery with an unclean scalpel. I want to add animation where the doctor accidentally drop scalpel to the floor and continue the operation with that

I loved it! My only issue is about movement, it seems to me that this mouse click and drag gets some times a bit clunky and imprecise. Otherwise, it's a gem!

MrRubel responds:

Thank you! I work on a new movement system, hope it will be better

balancing and eco could be better,
but this is actually the only game where I can let my hero go on a date to shit in his pants, spoil the date and die alone on the dinner table :D

I love this game in its polish and aesthetic, and had about an hour of fun playing it.
Constructive critisism:
1. I'm not sure many people or anyone would restart their whole game when it lasts as long as it does, and so won't really be able to play around with strategies for purchases to make as they only have one run of the game. This means they'll probably make bad purchases and have to stick to them the whole time they're playing, which doesn't feel great.
2. The purchases are too expensive, and most people would only buy a couple. People aren't going to stick around too long on a flash game, so let them access most of the content in an hour.
3. There is slight glitchy behavior when mushing lots of octopuses together in a small space.

MrRubel responds:

Thanks for the constructive criticism! It will help me to make a better unity version

Pretty cool game! I feel like it hits a home run in terms of core structure as the gameplay, graphics, sound, music and so on feel great! While the swipe controls were a little confusing at first, eventually they create a good feeling flow to the strategy of moving your units around. The only issue I have at the moment is that, while it does do well at introducing new units and such each level to keep the pace going, it takes quite a while to introduce any cool story elements, and then the flow is kinda disrupted by the difficulty spike/need to grind. With some minor balance tweaks, however, I think this game would be incredible!

MrRubel responds:

Thank you!
