I love the vocals to be honest. The rustiness of them adds an atmosphere that would be lost if they were as sterile as say, in 'The Fade'. But I agree, singing in the morning DOESN'T work...

this song is played well and sounds really nice. the only two minor suggestions i have is to turn down the distortion on the guitar a little bit and mix it so the drums are a little bit louder. besides these two little things the song is pretty solid and sounds really good.

Yeah, although personally, I can't stand the vocals on this song. This was one of my earlier songs that made me realize that it's not exactly a good idea to record vocals in the morning.
