Great start but I feel like it repeats about 30 seconds over and over again
Also for the way you remixed it it needs more energy it is boring to listen to
Might also want a few more sound effects all I heard was piano and dubstep sounds
I think overall it is a well structured mix and the music fits well together.
However, you might want to consider what you want the audience to hear the most, (i.e the piano at some places, it gets buried, or your "wubs".)
The piano itself when recorded is most likely a one-shot, so it'll probably be pretty dry. You might want to add some Reverb to it so it'll sound more acoustic, I guess. (You know the effect that makes it sound like the piano is being played in a Music hall instead of a closet.)
As for mixing, maybe try adding some compression or limiting? Maybe even some eq to balance some things out. The percussion is well heard throughout, but sometimes the kick is so strong it blocks out some of your melodic elements.
Anyways, these are just my opinions. Well done! It's a good piece.
The only real part I like is the piano. Otherwise, the dubstep sounds off, the song is pretty repetitive, the drums seem too faded, and it's filled to the brim with stock loops. I will say though, the piano part is really good.
i honestly can't give you more than 2 stars because the melody is pretty wack but the sound design is decent.
the mastering is bad.
the random piano parts just wont fit.
the piano makes a lot of reverb and its volume is way too high comparing to the bass.
(the reverb on the piano makes the sound on the drop really muddy)
the drums need a sidechain.
the second drop is not more different than the first one its literally copypasted and sped up.
you do have some good things in this song for example it is a song and you have different parts in it
but you need to learn more about mixing and mastering, music theory and chord progressions.
