Reviews for "3 months down the line"

Great stuff

Its nice to see you making new songs again. Very nice tune you got here.

The beginning had me a bit confused. A very slow start, with simple guitar melodies. When the strumming came in it began to form a more solid structure.

The added addition of a cello and strings had a nice refreshing sound. It had a very nice build up. The drums kind of surprised me. Before listening to it, I didn't think there could be a fitting beat in there.

Great stuff man, I look forward to more

cheers man, it's been a long time coming this, wintang totally inspired me with his latest tune, so i just got cracking. this is my first track in 3 months, i haven't been near my gear til i made this. it is a simple tune but i fel it's very 'spiritual'. im glad u liked it anyways, when i get more time i'll be sure to bob over and review you.

the sound of the north...

yeah...
i needed that. well chilled.
if u didn't have the click audible purposely it is a happy coincidence, works really well.
i hope ur back on it now, i just posted my 1st track in about the same amount of time, been seriously constipated aswell.
anyways, gj

pitbulljones responds:

haha 'the sound of the north' i like it mate. yea, works sort of took too much of my life away, but it has to be done, i just gonna have to pick n choose me moments now, instead of making a track in one sitting it's gonna two or three times, which it was for this, i think that may have helped in some way i don'y know.

anyways i'll review you soon

Ahhhh!!!

I am now an official fan...:D great soothing work!

Imperfections perfected!

Woah! I never thought that the metronome would be used so well in a song, haha.

I LOVE how this starts off man, just brilliant. Everything just flows right in and every sound complement each other perfectly.

I'm very happy with all the mixing, I hate how clean all the music is these days... You made it so it has a nice live feel to it.

God that metronome is awesome lol

pitbulljones responds:

OH MY DEAR GOD, SWEET JESUS, HOLY MOTHER OF A FATHER FUCKER!!!!!!

it is over 4 years since i submitted this track, and a dude, who i'm proud of and no offence intended, inspired, has got round to a review of my track. thank you mate. I'm so glad you GET IT, it isn't always about production quality. WARMTH is a massive part of my musical remit, that and atmosphere. I am so genuinely surprised to see this review i am nigh on flabbergasted. in all honesty, the record of this track was a genuine fuck up, mixed to the Buss, not the stereo output, the metronome click...not intentional, tho it works great in hindsight. I have serious thoughts of re=doing this track, to give it what i deem justice. this was afterall a track inspired by wintang and builat in hours. i feel i can really make this a stonker.....

THANK YOU FOD

Interesting.

So I heard a song the other day, and it struck me as really really familiar. I didn't know why though. I looked up the song and it was by Kid Cudi called Prayer. I was trying to remember what it was from when I remembered this song. (I've had your music on my hard drive for several years)
