Did they always... have letters in the game? I feel like I need to replay to get the joke, but do love the animation otherwise, and the always recognizable sound effects. Nice tribute.

The amount of coins I've raped on several Metal Slug machines is crazy but it was fucking worth it.
If you haven't played any of the Metal Slug games you have to play at least one of them but without coins it is a bit less exciting unless you go for 0 death runs.
