Reviews for "Flash Dragon"

what the hell?

that was kinda fucked up, the idea is good, but damn, NES games are better thant that... and that BABY GAP shit, thats the ugliest kid in the world,

pretty good, but needs work.

Sorry to say but it really isn't any good. I know it is a Beta version, but it simply won't work unless you start almost from scratch. Although I must say it does look like a lot of effort was put into what is there.

The 3-d thing just isn't working for you...
I would suggest 2-d vector... Must better for this type of thing on Flash.

Too slow, I have a fast comp and DSL...the characters responce times are extrodinarily slow. The moves aren't the greatest either (possible just because it is so slow...not sure cause it isn't fast. heh).

Concept good. A little more in depth levels would be nice. Better sound would be good too, I figure you left it out on purpose, but just make sure it's better later. A little blood would be good, but not needed if you don't want any.

Try making the opponents look different too, at least differant than you (more than just color differant)

Also, make it more realistic...meaning no dumb signs in the background saying "Baby gap" or whatever...that looked like crap. It can be something funny, but not imported images, just ruins everything.

Hope my suggestions helped. Oh and sorry bout the low score, but it doesn't deserve much at the state it is in right now, however I'm sure your finished version will be much better if you make a lot of the changes I said above.

very nice graphics

you should make some wepons and more attacks for the finished product

lost

lost its charm after 2 minutes play but still pretty good

A few suggestions

1. Don't use such poor 3D models. The whole 3D characters idea is not very good in Flash, it just doesn't look good. You rather use drawn vector characters that were drawn in Flash.
2. The coding is good overall, but there are a few problems: It often happens that the character doesn't respond to what the player wants, the whole pace is too slow and because of that the computer enemies are faster and more agile than the player, which is not neccesseraly a good thing.
3. The whole concept is too flatten out. Add more depth to the game by making stuff like things to jump on, power ups to pick up (either scattered around, or dropped from enemies), secret passages to enter through, obstacles to pass, and of course, different enemies (in look, strength, speed, quantity and maybe even AI).
4. The sound wasn't good at all but I guess that's understandable since this is probably an alpha test or something. But make sure sound will be good, realistic and varied in the full game.
5. If you're already getting into that double dragon concept, then you should go with it all the way. Make different levels each one varied with different atmosphere, background, enemies and a boss for each level (varied in strength and strategy every time).
5. Try not to make the game too repetitive, since it's a very common mistake with this kind of games. Make every level different from the other, with different enemies, different bosses with different weapons, AI, strength and strategy. Make the player to try and guess what will be next, instead of letting him know for sure.
