Reviews for "Xtrullor - Jnana"

EPIC!!!

One word to describe this track:
Epic.

Interesting feel to the song. Can't describe really, but I know it's amazing! I like this new era, only complaint is that the drum beats are always consistent and needs more of a verity with the timing.

I don't hear that much space(tags)... that is of course you used omnisphere. What is the bpm? This sounds a lot like birth of the sun.

Well for starters i thought you were leaving NG. I'm not gonna complain. I may as well write a review while im here even though you dont need one. Writing as i listen.
So, the beginning (first 50 secs or so) was beautifully executed, the drums, bass, orchestral instruments, etc. all fitted together perfectly. I loved the way it faded in and the use of vocals was spectacular. (i love the smaller details you always put in your songs)
The calm that came afterwards was very relaxing, while also intense. I loved the main melody and the background lower keys, quieter sounds and bass.
When the buildup started i knew shit was about to begin. It started quiet and just got more awesome. It was way more interesting than the majority of generic drum-beat buildups. And my god the water sounds blew my mind. the were so crisp and fitted perfectly.
Good lord the drop.
EASILY the best drop that you have made in terms of your liquid dubstep. The bass just before the drop was magnificent and you could tell it was going to be massive. The heavy bass, the wubs and the way the drop flowed was simply mind blowing. you used your orchestral skills in a way i haven't seen since Ichor. The orchestra/choir noises just gave the epic atmosphere that some of your recent songs otherwise lacked. There were no awkward breaks in tension and when there was one it made the drop better. What you did with this drop, you need to keep doing because it blows your other ones out of the water.
The ambience after the drop was quite something. The use of more techy, Chords? (sorry ive never used music software in my life) along with the vocals and other instruments was ingenious. And the bass was great.
When it picked up again, it was the same case as before, awesome use of bass, instruments etc.
I loved the violin, the main orchestra, the bass and most of all: that ominous, dark sound in the background. The voice sample was, interesting. I couldn't really make out exactly what he was saying. But all the sounds in the background while he was speaking made it special. And it was a fantastic idea to use it as the "calm before the storm" if you get what i mean.
Nice bell by the way.

Holy FUCK!
i thought the first drop was good. You took everything that was good about the first drop and made an even better one. Like Jesus Christ man i dont need to tell you what was good. It was so intricate, flowing, intense, Beautiful, awe-inspiring, (running out of words) WubTastic! and the way it ended was spot on.
Again, ingenious use of sample speech. Goddamn thats some deep shit.
But wtf happened at the ending there's like 10 seconds of silence? Ah well im not going to deduct anything for it.

In short:
mastering: 10/10
Instruments: 10/10
Vocals/speech: 10/10
Ingenuity: 10/10

Just a few questions too.
-So, i heard that you were going to be releasing with Au5 at some point, so whens that going to happen, and whats the label called? (does it even exist yet?)
-why are you still on NG? i mean, you said you were leaving, and at your standard, there's really no point in staying. (and as someone who plays geometry dash i really coudn't care less about using your songs in the game. plenty of fish in the ocean)
-Also, if you weren't releasing with Au5, what would your next choice be?

I hope you appreciate this review, i gave up my masturbation time for this. Keep making awesome music.
Also sorry if my review isnt that helpful, i dont know jack shit about music production and it was pretty hard to find things wrong with the song. I likely forgot something important too.
