Your art and your animation are both really good, maybe you could take a hiatus from really short animations and try to make a long one? Maybe with out so many energy attacks, but more hand to hand attacks. It's not very original, but I think it's pretty cool. But yea, make about a two minute fight and I think you could get number one easy. Also, ask around on the forums to see if someone could help you with the sounds, and you could give them props for it in the credits. O, by the way, your preloader is a little messed and I had to right click and click play. Good Luck!
