i'm still jsut learning flash but i've come across the same problem in many diffrent programs, I really thought the animation on the shadow was great though very smooth and lifelike.

That was so true. I tried (quit after a week) learning Flash 5, and that stupid "smoother-thing" is so annoying. I went through 3 monitors in that week. Hindsight made me realize it was a bad week to quit drinking, smoking, and doing amphetamines. Great job on the flash and keep it up! And to all those who thought that just because the main idea is that of which the animator can't draw anything because of the "smoother-thing" doesn't mean that the animator of the cartoon can't draw. JUST LOOK AT THE OTHER THINGS IN THE MOVIE!!! YOU ASSES!...Anyways, keep up the work! SCOND!!!

Okay then.
Having not used flash myself this suggestion might sound stupid but surely that feature that annoys you can be turned off. And I'm no English teacher but I think there might be something wrong with "Have you evr have this problem with..." however this was very amusing, especially the solution offered at the end.
