Reviews for "Opulence (VIP)"

This song makes me feel just, happy. Great work remastering an old tune, Miyo! I hope to see a lot more from you in the future :)

Miyolophone responds:

Thank you Monado-Boy! I never have much time to work around the holidays, but I hope to get some new stuff out soon...

(i heard that celestial reference at 2:38, you sneaky sneak)
This feels a lot more substantial than the original Opulence, because of the new melodies/harmonies put into it. The beat that the synth at the beginning (& at 0:43 & 3:04) plays is so catchy. The 8-bit sfx and outro are appreciated as well (chiptune = <3). I am really glad that you didn't replace all off the instruments from the original, as that would destroy the "soul" of the piece. It feels like the bigger brother to Opulence, different but still related. ^u^

Miyolophone responds:

(The 8-bit parts were specifically for you, of course)
Thanks Hyper, glad you enjoyed it! Not really sure what the Celestial reference was but I subconsciously do that a lot so you're probably right haha

quite the specimen

Miyolophone responds:

Very nice! It's always a pleasure to hear your music! You have made something really nice to hear out of this composition. There are maybe some places where I would have personnaly used cresc. and decresc. combined with a little bit of Attack modulation on some instruments. But it's my own opinion. Your song is awesome! We can hear everything well, good mix, good compo, good sounds. You deserve the perfect score sir! :)

Miyolophone responds:

Ah, thanks so much sebastien! I know I should get a bit more creative with my automation, maybe next time, but I'm happy you liked it so much anyway c:

Yes, This is very good.
I love the blending and the mixing
The beginning could be better though...
Besides that I actually really enjoyed it ;)

Miyolophone responds:

Thanks Dlizzio! I'm glad you enjoyed!
