Reviews for "Sourcream 2"

I defiantly see what you meant about your better production quality, the original had a sorta pixel tone. In this you made it WAY more dubstep toned. But because of that, you removed some of the smallest but best parts... but the drops got better, I see what you were going for. But the over exaggerated electronic build up made the song a little worse. But you defiantly improved your drops. And the conclusion to the song, I think the original was better it felt really calm and cwl... like this part 1:16 it was a nice semi drop. So I think you did better with the drops but a little worst with the buildups and conclusion. And you exterminated the chill second drop I’m still upset with that btw... sorry for the long comment ._.

I love everything you did with this, except for the drop.
what i really liked about the original was the "smooth/clean" drop, and that was what made it original (to me.)
and with this re-do, you took away all that, and made it more generic.
i still love the orignal though.

AeronMusic responds:

I can agree that it sounds a bit more generic than before. I tried to give a different take on it which turned out to sound like this. But oh well... (:

Well, it's pretty good, but not my style. I personally like the original one better ;3;

Yay! First Comment!

Nice Song, i personally dont like the video game leads but the drums tuned me in a bit. It sounds like the leads' volume is at the peak of the master if u know what i mean. They seem a little messy but i like the drums.
The track, too random in the drop and weird vocals.

Guys dont think im a hater when u see this. This is actually helping the person because its corrective criticism.

Positive thoughts:

Off the charts in the arrangement! Very well put together and arranged. As far as sound design, needs work but awesome for a video game song.

That's all i have. I am a piano player so my creative juices flow but i most of the time can't write my own song. I only have what came with M-Audio Oxygen 49 and it includes Ableton Live Lite, Twist (Which is too dark in its sound) by SONiVOX, and Xpand! by AIR Music Technology.

Hope this helped. I suggest you try Hard House or Future Bass. Those two are my favorite and i like how some blend together. Foreverbound is changing his style into House and Dubstep and i liked how it worked for him.

Wish the best for you AeronMusic and the rest out there,

Davidgotskill

AeronMusic responds:

Yeah I can understand why the drop can sound too random with the those weird vocals. I personally like it sounding that chaotic, so that is why. It actually is some flaw in my music style and I hear it from more people. I'll shall do my best and change that in the future.
And yes I will produce Hard House (or Complextro) and Future Bass more often. As you may have noticed I will put AeronMusic on hold, so I hope you'll follow my other alias here: https://soundcloud.com/everflux

Thanks a lot for your feedback David! (:

i'd prefer the first version. But good its listenable
