Reviews for "Megaman - ProjectX(demo)"

whoa.. that was pretty cool

This is some good stuff man.. though, the gameplay was still sluggish on my 1.5Ghz Athalon with 1.09GB of ram, and some of the sprites need to be tweaked.. just so they fit in with the environment better. Overall, pretty good.

Real good, especially considering it a first shot

Steering X, interacting with platforms, and hit detection was a bit stiff, but those are forgivable considering it's your first build. I had a rough time setting up the code and working out the collisions too (hell I'm still trying to get some things closer). The background music was kind of out of place for a megaman level. Very good overall though, hope to see a finished build.

Thanks. If you need any help with your own game, feel free to drop me a line by e-mail. I've also got a partially finished tutorial series up on the subject.

So Megaman like but.....

SHORT!

Good!

I had to take off a couple points because of the glitch (that if you die on the boss, you don't respawn) from overall though. Be sure to fix that in the full version.

Nice but Hard!

Nice idea, but hard... I think I played it with the slow problem, he walks slower than usual, and sometimes get slower.
I suggest the button work only one time per press, not continuous. If I hold the Dash button, he dashes until I release it, what sometimes throw me on some hole... I think it will be better if the button works only when press, just like the Buster button.
The stages are hard, lots of holes, but cool for being different than usual.
Nice programming and start design ;D (downloading, game start and game over)
