it's great!
For me it's hard to come up with some original material for any kind of DnB song. You certainly pulled off a sort of retrospect of that element. The song started off great with that ambient wave fluttering the song and the nice drums to back up any sort of mood that it is giving out. And once the breaks of the main melody come in, that's where I get this Spor feeling in my belly, the same feeling I got while listening to the beginning of "Powder Monkey". It's one of the best feelings I have had in a long time.
Epic, it is, but it could use a little toning down once it actually kicks in. Maybe just ochestrate some more strings or pads in it, than it could be louder without being loud. Then that harmonic piano comes, and as you said the hip hop area has shown it's loins. It's a very indifferent way to breakdown the song, but unique and memorable it is.
Is that it??? Nope, once again it powers up and goes back to the Spor/Pendulum type song. Whilst you add more new and attractive things to it. It's certainly a good way to end a DnB song.
Well... That was a blast!
