Suggestions
This does have the potential to be good. However, you should change a few things for sure. First, get some Metal Slug sound effects and music. Second, do not use that white blood. Use red blood. Third, just finish it. If you follow these steps, this will be very good. If you need help changing the blood to red, just email me telling me how you got the sprites.
Its coming along
It's turning out really well but you still need to do some work on the scripting. You need to aim for making it play exactly like the real metal slug games in order to get the best effect. Here are some little things that need to be fixed:
1. A jump button (obviously)
2. Make the player able to shoot in all directions
3. When the player shoots make him unable to move until the shooting animation is through so your bullets don't dissappear in mid-air when you try to move after shooting
4. Make the player able to shoot while running.
5. Add grenades and a knife you stab them with up close (like in the real game)
6. Ok I know the sweat is supposed to be there, but see if you can make it red instead. That would kick ass.
Wasn't that great..
They're not your graphics,so that's about 3/4s of the work that you didn't do.
And beyond that it was just one guy walking around shooting the other one. (Boring.)

You're well on your way to creating a SWEET assed game... I like it cause a big flaw in most games is some authors don't take into account how slow they run on some peoples machines... this one runs good and the interactivity is kept simple so it's easy to control... this has some serious potetntia;l :)

Very nice job, If so I would like you suggest a few things that might improve on the game, first when your walking I dunno if you know this or not but you can't shoot the gun, 2nd how come water looking stuff comes out of them when they die and not blood :p and 3rd maybe you can add a jump and some platforms, those are just a few friendly suggestions but great work and I hope to see updates on this game.
