Reviews for "The Ritual"
How did the boy get from shop's payphone to school in time it took for the teacher to answer phone? Unrealistic time - he should have said to her something that would keep her occupied for a while. It's sloppy design that this was not included.
However the cemetery puzzle was a good one - the hardest puzzle in Carmel Games ever, imho. From the 33:39 minutes it took me to complete this game, I spent like 20 of them on that puzzle. The snake and ladders puzzle was also tricky, but not that hard.
On overall I give this game a higher rating then to most Carmel games because the puzzles are getting more imaginative, interesting and and tricky. Still not a perfect score because the usual flaws - short game and no character animation and some rushed design like with calling teacher that I described above.
The cemetery guard was funny, he should get fired, lol.
