I had so much fun with this game! Only problem I had was when I stood on a ledge and I attacked, the attack moved my character and made me fall off.

Very nice. As said before by other ppl, just fix air control and hit boxes and you have a series inbound
I wonder if players are watching after the credits and realizing that at the "end" of the game you need to pay attention to those hearts and spades to figure out how to really finish it?
That seems like a huge point, and ppl are probably missing it.

Awesome! All it needs is better air control, and less hit lag. Then it will be perfect. Also please make this either a series or a full game. Good work!
