I love this style of animation where you sync up high speed actions into a neat little music video. You should make more :3
This was a nice tribute to the Hop and Bop platformer games and those who suck at them!.
It was really good work in an overall sense. A lot of skill and love went into this. The visuals encompassed so many classic games of the age like Sonic, Mario, and even many games that have appeared on Newgrounds yet were unique to the video.
This was a worthy watch. The pace is relentless. In ways it comes off like nothing spectacular but then it had a flow and was continuous and everything seemed to me to fit seamlessly. I rate this as just damn good work! It was lite and not heavy or leaded down with dramatic. It was rough (in the context of 'I'm'a gonna' kick yer butt!') but in all reality it was nowhere near the over the top Kill Bill level of insane violence or Madness and their over the top bloody carnage. Really it wasn't even Ultraviolet at all.
This is a great tribute to video games in a general sense especially many classic games of the past as well as games of the present. It is a tribute to the dedication and perseverance to win by the gamers themselves.
4.5 just because. I did feel the itch to say 5 but while VERY GOOD was not great or had anything that really pokes the eye. It did stray from conventional in a lot of highly commendable ways. The artwork for one being an Animation really set it apart from many other works. It is a very fun spirited which also sets it apart from a lot of other games where violent concepts are present.
Keep up the great work. I am sure to see a 5 or two from you if I had not already.
