Reviews for "Green Gunner"

None of the medals work.

Also sometimes the gun will "stick" and then refuse to ever shoot any more bullets. Also the jumping isn't incredibly consistent as sometimes he'll jump just a tiny bit higher (or lower) than other times and this will make some precision jumps very annoying to complete.

Your game is interesting but the jumping is a little difficult especially trying to get on the moving platforms.

It's definitely a cool engine, but I didn't make it through the starting level because I died near the end and it spawned me all the way at the beginning. I don't feel like going through that much of the level again.

The game has good potential, but you gotta fix the bugs where boxes can be on top of you and you have to shoot for a while to finally get them off, and I would recommend changing the "jump" and "shoot" buttons over. That last part was a personal preference but I think it's a global preference.

Menu graphics need a touch-up and there should be a prompt as you hit escape because it's just a sudden *poof* and you're back at the menu. I'll give you 2 stars for the game itself and half a star for the fact that it has controller support, although it shouldn't be the biggest priority, I'll admit.

MrNannings responds:

I changed the controls to your recommendation, that is also my preference. I thought the global preference was different.

I'm still thinking about your other points.

Thanks for playing.

I really liked it. Levels were entertaining and provided me with suprises(in a positive way) as I was making way through them. Giving it 4 stars is a lil too much (3.75 is more accurate due to techincal issues).

Some issues that bothered me:
- Level ending takes extremely long
- Respawn makes fps drop terribly
- Once you end one level and return to level choice menu last completed level is focused which forces player to remember to switch to the next level
- No health regeneration on check point + check point isn't obvious at first
- No boss hp bar (or some other health indicator) in the last level

MrNannings responds:

Thanks. I'm happy with the 3.75, seems fair. Some of the points you made I will do in a update. But that fps drop I haven't noticed before.

- Level ending takes extremely long.
This is now a half shorter

- Once you end one level and return to level choice menu last completed level is focused which forces player to remember to switch to the next level
This one is also fixxed

thanks for your feedback
