Reviews for "Strategic Ground Command"

I'm terrible at these kind of games, but I can see the amazing amount of potential this has. It really reminds me of Bowmaster Prelude which I loved that when I was like 7 or 8. You could add a lotta stuff here, like more towers, minions for your own castle, different maps and maybe a difficulty scale.

I'm rating well because I think it's a solid first idea for a game and if you develop this even further I'm sure it'll be a hit.

Funny you should mention bowmaster - that's exactly what I had in mind, as I played it many years ago as well. This project was just to publish game as soon as it was playable, and even through low scores I see reviews are favourable even if only "it needs more work".

A fun game here simple but fun little strategy game reminds me of a tower defence game and i liked that about it, You have some nice and polished controls and features and the variation in enemies was really nice, My method was to place turrets up close to the enemy base and that was even a push but anyways nice game here

Interesting concept, although in a way not immediately intuitive. First time playing through I thought that the game was just an endless grind with how little damage your bullets do.
Later I realized how you'd go about winning and although this game titles itself a strategy, there's only one way to win, which is to just stack turrets up close to the enemy base right at the start.
I really wish you'd fully explore the potential a simple strategy game like this can have, but with this being very shallow and one level long, I can't particularly say this is a game I'll remember. However, I think you could if you put the time in!

Sure took a while, but I made it! :) The right tactic seems to get as close as you can to the enemy base as fast as possible, and keep firing away all the while building up additional turrets to keep the foes at bay and help you bombard the base. A simple but fun little strategy game, with polished controls and features, though it gets a bit monotone when you're just firing away for maybe ten minutes, with no extra levels, or upgrades, or variation in enemies. Fun for a while, but not so sure about replay value. Maybe if there was a highscore table too? Best time, maybe? Would love to see this evolve into something longer, and with less time required on each level if it does. Nice work so far!
