That was pretty fun. Wish there was a volume option, because I had to mute the sounds entirely. They were getting too annoying. As for the gameplay, did you intentionally make it so that there were 8 extra stars at the end?
This game isn't too half bad! A volume option would be INCREDIBLE though LOL
My god my ears... I can't complain. The game is nice. It can be capable of expanding. More ships to unlock, other unique monsters to deal with. Mob bosses that take a bit of strategy to figure out how to deal with.
Pretty nice. Although I have both coin income +s it doesn't feel effective enough and totally not worth the amount of stars for them. Also as the levels go by the more boring the game becomes... and I'm usually a fan of TD games.
I likethe fact you have made such an attractive lane sweeper. It gives people different strategies to test and if they don't like it, they can reset their star balance and try a different approach.
That in itself makes this game adaptable and leagues above many they have on the App markets today.
The fact you picked an original theme in Sea monsters vs Pirates instead of Ninjas vs Pirates or Pirates vs Royal Navy,... that speaks volumes. :D
All in all I would say only draw back is minicomics that split the game into halves,... They're cool and all,... But not really adding to the narrative if there is a narrative. Unless you're using them specifically to signal monster attack from said monster shown in vision?
