Nice first movie! Hmm, I've seen the original commercial before, and it was only slightly different from the original....the part where they're cussing at each other and then the boy kills the owl. The other thing, in the beginning, the boy's voice is all high pitched, and then suddenly he has a deep voice...instant puberty, huh?
I originally kept the boy's voice high towards the end, but it didn't sound angry or threatening enough. I re-recorded the sounds in a lower voice and it seemed to be an improvement. If more people want me to change the voice back to a higher pitch, tell me so in a review and I might resubmit the movie with the changes made.

...Then you've obviously taken some time to make this! Most people submit something really crappy as their first. But you've gone and taken extra time to make a better first impression! Bravo! The movie was great, and I still remember from years ago that one commercial. The turtle can never make it without biting, so ask the owl! Once again, great job on the movie.
Haha, it was so difficult to resist the temptation to submit this before it was neatened up. But I thought about all the first-time movies that get immediately blammed because they are "demos" or "previews," and I held out.
Not bad for first try.
The content of this movie is excellent, the sound is really fitting in, the movie is funny and has nice twist of parodie over it.
The part where the owl eats his lollipop is very well drawn, perfect scene, but otherwise I dont like the style your drawing with, but like they say practice makes perfect, just keep hangin in, you certainly have talent.

I tried multiple different ways of having the owl eat the Tootsie Pop. Close-ups on the boy's face, close-ups on the Tootsie Pop, even frame-by-frame animation. But all the people I showed the unfinished movie to liked this "slideshow" format best. Glad you liked it too!
