Sounds... confused?

This one seems like its riding the fence. This is not quite one of the epics that you've made but it is not quite as sterile as Brotherhood.

The feel of this piece is also half and half. It moves around with a significant amount of speed but lacks the continuity of large conflict. The imagery that I pull from this is more of an internal conflict. A man sits on the floor, reflecting on the terrible deed that is required of him.

Of course this might have been intentional or maybe it's because I've been awake for exactly 23 hours. Overall still a piece of art.

MaestroRage responds:

Indeed this piece was meant to instill the feeling of frustration, of confusion and detachment. The story behind this piece is that of a young child growing up. Expectations, demands, failures, challenges, all coming at them at an alarming rate.

On the flip side of that coin, the image you introduced comes in. I did not actually think of this piece as a means of somebody reflecting on the bad deed that THEY performed, however it is definitely a possibility.

Also being awake for 23 hours is never good for one's sanity ;). Sorry for the delayed response, i'm glad you enjoyed the track, thank you for the review ^^.

awesome

I love the melodies. Still eastwest? (I wish my DL would hurry up XD)

MaestroRage responds:

Nope, this is Grand VST, purely piano VST, rather large on RAM consumption, I can't use East West and this together :P.

Thank you for the review, glad you liked it ^^.

"wow it was amazing"

you really know how to use the piano, i only have been making music for five months and one week. i don't really have the music smarts to discuss how the music was, but it was a really excellent fantastic piece! i loved it. nothing you can usually hear in iran unless you got newgrounds. i have bad lagging connection on newgrounds so i can't really access every part of the web. anyways please make more i loved it!

MaestroRage responds:

My friend, I do not know how to play the piano ;). I have no music theory, and I can't even name the keys in most scales, so do not think you need years and years of training to get anywhere. I have just recently hit my 2 year mark as a composer. If you have passion, and if you have a drive you too will be able to do what I do, if not bypass it.

I will definately keep making more, I look forward to new submissions by yourself as well, keep me informed!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked the piece ^^.

Life is no game...though some think it that way...

Very good Maestrow...I'm impressed. The slow build up with all the bells is very good. I'm surprised you used a lot of piano in this piece. Normally I would expect Milkman-Dan to do that being the incredible piano player he is. The part where the piano plays silently in the background with the orchestra and the violin was perfect. Was it violin? I'm not to sure. Fill me in on that please. Another story. A struggling author sits at his desk. His story is layed before him except the ending is unfinished. He is struggling with ending so in order to properly colaborate he reads through what he has written and has the images play through his head. He laughs at some of the parts he wrote and all in all it is a good story except for the ending. He sleeps for a while and has a dream. It is on of the many strange dreams we all have in our lifetime. He wakes up and wonders what the dream could mean. Then it hits him. He rushes over to his story and finishes the ending, thoughly satisfied with it. What was the dream and what did it mean? It is the finishing parts of all the stories I have made and weaved through your music Maestrow. Sometimes it is difficult to think them up...especially with a arthertic back on your mind giving you aches and pains. But in the end you yourself must draw your ending. Keep up the good work...

MaestroRage responds:

Thats an oriental violin called the ErHu. I'm not familiar with it's history, but you know now that you mention it, I'm quite curious to find out (i'll google it after response)

This is my second piano focal piece. My first was a horrible failure, and like you said MilkMan-Dan does most of the piano works, but still I wanted to see how deep I could dive with the piano. This piece's story is actually very very strange Zen, one day I will pm it to you.

Your story intrigues me, for many of my ideas for pieces come to me in dreams. One day I had a dream where I was playing such a sweet, bitter piano melody, I almost tore my hair out trying to remember it when I awoke, I was never so sad to not be able to remember a dream...

I am glad these pieces could inspire worlds and stories in you Zen, knowing that, then already these pieces have lived for their purpose, and that makes me at ease.

I will definately keep them coming Zen, sorry to hear about your back, I hope it does not interefere with your life.

In any case, thank you once again for the lengthy review and support Zen. As usual it was a treat to have read it. I'm glad you liked the piece ^^.

Another Grand Masterpiece.

Excellent Work MaestroRage, as always you take music to the next level of classic. By the way how's the song coming for my story "The Right Thing."

Great song by the way.

(P.S. I don't know if you've checked your e-mail, but I've changed my NG Alias for the last time. It is now The-Great-One.)

MaestroRage responds:

Heh, okay I got it down. If you have any more name changing planned do tell me ;).

The song for your piece is slowly coming to fruitation. I'm sorry I havn't put as much effort into it as I would like to, but time is a luxery I can no longer find... especially these next two weeks with final exams and all.

In any case, thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked the piece ^^.
