Horribly buggy. So much so it corrupted my save and I have to hard reset if I want to play again, losing all my levels and progress.
Starting the game as soon as possible bugs out the music and sound so it plays muted. Alt-tabbing back and forth creates this avalanche of sound effects happening at once. Jumping into a portal will cause irreparable savegame damage because the character does not load into the next area, and beating the enemies just keeps the game in limbo (kill game and come back, it loads into a dead black screen = corrupt save, do not pass go, have to reset all data just to play again).
Combat is repetitive and boring, and the ONLY reason I die is by the two bears in the dance club when they take turns knocking themselves over and over and I get caught up in it. It's too easy to knock the enemy down and just beat the shit out of them regardless if its a boss or not.
The ending gets caught and does not progress most of the time. For some reason the "start game too fast mutes it" will trick the game into getting past that final loading screen hangup. Go figure.
Music is awesome, graphics are just fine, mechanics are there, but it just feels woefully incomplete. I'd have a higher opinion if my saved progress were intact. It wasn't worth starting over on Hard difficulty anyway, nothing different except the enemies soak more damage.
