Reviews for "Comics + Games = ?"

very nice, but not perfect. and i love the idea of using items to move on, it's just SO creative!

I really love the entire concept. The within but outside the squares, mini stories, how cute it is. Would love to see more of this in the same form of separate little stories.
But of course could be used in your desired writing of one story as well.

Of course not a full game yet, so haven't judged is as such. Potential is 5/5 (since i love comics)
Would like to see what comic/game crossover you'd come up with :)

I have been thinking of making a collection of smaller games based on this concept (kind of like the 20 page comic books from america) but I will not be able to start working on it in 2016, gotta finish "Shword Story" first :)

Very different and heart warming at the end ^_^

Super unique. Maybe it isn't executed to its best, but it's very creative, and I haven't seen a game like this. I love that you can change things about the comic book. I feel like you should do one of two things about this game. I feel like adding a story would be very cool. Giving reason to the character doing this stuff or why he even is in a comic book. Making a twist ending at the end or maybe an emotional one. Either that or making this a really good puzzle game. Make the game more challenging because in each story, you could only interact with one thing, so make it harder to tell what you are supposed to interact with. Perhaps, you could put in red herrings.

I will try to make this into a full 1 hour game with a story, dramatic turns, incredible twists and a deeper meaning and whatnot, but only after I finish work on a better version of my other game "Shword".

thanks for the input :)

Great for what it was. You showed really interesting ideas and to be honest, I was expecting a basic panel by panel "walk along". I was really impressed by the ideas and functions of the 'comics' and really look forward to you implementing this engine into other ideas :) However, if you did ever get bored or wanted a break from the stuff you were doing, you could always go back to this and spice it up with some better graphics and a couple extra levels ;) hint hint hehehe

I am working on a better Version of "Shword" right now.

Basic plot for a story driven game that takes place inside a comic is already written up, I will collect ideas for a while and start working on them after i finish the final version of Shwords (in a few months? hopefully)
