not a bad game, little error in one of the codes, i think the word is reading but you put a 3 instead of a 5 so i got rcading. The riddle has me though... the one in the flower pot. all in all i really want to play the rest. I have this urge to find out if ann killed them or not. Or if maybe its someone unknown as of yet.

Episode 2 will be a lot longer. There will be more locations to visit and people to meet.
This game is great and compelling! However, I cannot load a saved file that I just saved a minute ago. Fortunately the introduction is short but good! Keep going! I love it so far!! =) However I did notice a couple of things that need to be addressed:
1) You've got to fix the error of being unable to load saved game. It gave me the option the first time in the main menu when I first loaded the game but did not provide the same options the second time.
2) After completing an episode, there is no way to go back to the main menu. You can only reload the game again which brought me back to problem #1. I encountered this in the "options" menu after I beat episode 1.
3) The episodes should be longer. I understand that this is a demo but even the first episode should be a lot longer. I found myself really getting into this game from the start and then just as quickly as I started, the episode was over, leaving me slightly disappointed but compelled to play more.
Other than that keep it up my friend!! I love games like this so great job so far =)

ALllllright. I thought this was a pretty fun little game, but it has many errors.
I'll start with the good here, the riddles, I LOVED. Their simple, but I love having to actually decode stuff and have it be fun, so points to you there, but that may be me being biased.
The game was incredibly short, but you did a decent job of building up some nice suspense, but I felt like you leaned on having too short of a game too hard. Why not make more game, and just keep us guessing by not revealing too much information at a time?
I noticed an error in your decoding in the first diary entry you had to decode, You put "He's rcading" instead of "He's reading". Didn't notice any more errors throughout.

The dad trying to talk down the detective sounded like pure insanity. "Horrible, insane, mother"? Yea sure whatever. If that's what was intended, great on you, sounded like it. To accuse the mother would've been pretty insane, given the evidence. Overall, It left me wanting more, this score will probably increase in the coming games, but this is a nice start.
