He should have known better. This just proves that one should never perform an action without first rolling knowledge, especially if alone.

The ending was what did this, great twist. Animation was pretty decent, the atmosphere and setup was great. I'm curious as to what happens next! #GuardianSeries

I hadn't really considered this being a series, but there's no reason it can't be. I'm gonna keep that in the back of my head and see if something fun comes of it :D
Points off the bat for the art style. I'm a sucker for what looks like hand-drawn imagery, and the way it all fits together here is impressive. It strikes me as having a bit of a Souls-esque feel to it; the foreboding atmosphere, the craggy surroundings, and the dilapidated manor/estate/whatever, it all feels like it sinks together to create a somewhat haunting aesthetic. While the characters looked minimalist, and the animation wasn't stellar, I have to say I like what you did with this, especially the little twist.

Thanks for all the kind words! This project all started as an experiment in style and I'm glad it resinated with you. Next time around I absolutely want to start tightening up the animation, particularly the character movement.
