It's not impossible, but perhaps I did not do enough to let the player know when to jump in, and what beat to hit on...
Seemed like it would be a good game. But it seems really broken. I started playing and just watched my sumo cry while I pressed my space bar hoping something would happen. Then the second time I just pressed my space bar at a constant speed and the game was stuck on one frame and I heard what im assuming is the sumo grunting. Then midway it just went back to the sumo crying.
Please fix your game.
Other than the laginess, which I'm not sure how to fix, the only thing that seems to be happening here is you're hitting the space bar at the wrong time. I guess I shouldn't have assumed people would know exactly when to jump in. I thought the countdown would be enough.
Not good, or maybe I am just playing it wrong, but the music is terrible and I guess it lags. unplayable.
Medals don't seem to be working? As for the game, I like the graphics and idea, an dthe controls are easy to get used to, but that rythem is hard, especially when you're limited to a per-defined pattern, and there are no indicators other than the smile on the coach's face. If you try to double-time it, or follow the notes differently you get no reward, you have to stick to the slow second-based beat, like a background kickdrum (that doesn't even exist in this melody). I wish you could into the music a bit more. It's basic, but looks good!
