Art was bad, sound effects sucked, map was bad, gameplay was bad. Doesnt seem like you put much effort into your idea. I think your game would have been interesting if youd worked on it. Calling it a "game" is a bit much imho. Also the footsteps? Most annoying sound ever

I keep getting a glitch where I walk to left without being able to stop. This happens after I pick up the shovel.
This game is quite interesting and creepy. You did great work with this one so five stars from me!
PS: Is the protagonist supposed to be a cop that joined a Satanic cult called the South Star Church, murdered his family and buried their bodies as part of some profane ritual to gain "enlightenment", and then he went mad and murdered every member of the cult and then buries the cult members in a mass grave? That's what I inferred from the game's areas, the items laying about, and the ending.
To me it seems like he was a cop, and something happened that caused him to lose faith in his original faith. So he joined a new church, when he was inducted into the church he was requested to kill his wife and two daughters as part of a ritual.
He killed them and buried them behind the church.
I rather enjoyed this game, and would be interested to know what language you coded it in.
The storyline is interesting....even if I did get it wrong.
Hmm i think i get it, in the beginning, it showed a bloody badge. Im assuming the man murdered a cop who came to investigate the situation. When you go upstairs you enter a room mentioning there's two new borns and a spouse which i assume he killed and buried in the back. Im assuming the orchard is where he placed the ritual and the park is where he celebrated Jess's birthday. Then as you go off to the church, Im assuming the man you are is a "priest" and the church is where the people gathered to talk about the "celebration" but instead they turned out to be his victims for the ritual he is planning to perform and at the end, he's most likely burying the spouse. The game was too quick but i think i understand the secret message ^_^.
