Reviews for "Look at your Feet"

The message of game is to stop trying so hard, but if you don't your fingers get chopped off? I didn't see any exit signs, I tried to squash the fly with palm or a shoe part, but to no avail. So if there is no exit then there is also no point in bringing the good message.

Btw, the rest of the workers just look like fapping with their right hand as shoeboxes are conveyed past them.

Qualified as "disturbing" or "boring" but we shouldn't forget that this game is very realistic, and also it doesn´t last for 5 minutes to people in this condition. It takes forever, to them and also their children/familiy.

Game play was really slow for the first two rounds I had to wait for more than 30s for a feedback. The first four shoes made was not up to the quality and it's cruel to have a finger chopped off. :/ It's boring to work in a factory in where the only accompany was a fly. The other characters are as quiet as robots.

I really liked this game, but there's a point in the game where it rolls in an incomplete shoe and then immediately rolls it out saying that the shoe I made was terrible when in actuality I never had the chance to work on it.

I'm not sure if that was intentional or just a bug but it makes the game unwinnable.

You made me think about a lot of things that usually go unnoticed. I tried to answer to the question you wrote in the comment section, "when did I change?" Was it when I got my first expensive gift? Or when I felt disillused for the first time? Maybe it was when I "couldn't bother" to think about it while shopping? I really can't tell, unfortunately. This game took me back to that moment, when things did matter, and I won't forget this again.

Now let's talk about the game:
This game was pretty well done, even if it was simple.
The music was so catching, it created some contrast with the setting, and this detail made it all more real. The country music calls back to a happier place, and it's probably the music you would find in a factory like this.
The "perfect filling pixel" is also spot on, it's not supposed to be easy, it's supposed to be real.
The only negative aspect I feel I should point out is that the graphichs are too simple, they're perfect for the shoe and the components, but the background shouldn't be in pixel art, maybe something more detailed could have worked better. And that fly will give me chils for days...

Verzinsky responds:

Thanks for playing it, you made my day!! :)
