Reviews for "BulletHell Adventure"

Finished the game with all stars. Very good game

Frozennnn responds:

Thanks for the feedback gld you beat the game with all stars soon bullethell adventure 2 for more challanges.

The voice acting REALLY needed work and some of these bosses just really shouldnt have been voiced in the first place it made it WAY too silly and cliche for me beyond that great game.

Frozennnn responds:

Hi thanks for the feedback i will improve better voice acting for next version

How do you get a x30 combo? Even killing every enemy immediately, you still get combo breakers because the enemies just don't spawn fast enough, even on the last level.

Also, you can get so overpowered that it's nearly impossible to get all 5 stars on earlier boss fights because you can't avoid killing them too fast.

Frozennnn responds:

Hi thanks for the feedback to get easy the x30 combo try in the last levels and let some enmies get close to you

Graphics: 1 star
Arguably the best part of the game, all areas look amazing. The humans look awkward but I don't consider it a problem, they don't appear often anyway.

Sound: 3/4 stars
The music is catchy and fits the game well. One minor issue is that I can easily tell where the music loops, the track that plays in the level select screen being the worst offender. There also seems to be only one battle theme, from the first level until the final battle so, while it isn't bad, it can become annoying. The voice acting isn't the best but it's passable.

Gameplay: 3/4
Controls are the same as in most shooters, I have no complaints there. The difficulty seems to be based more on grinding rather than skill though. In bullet hell games you generally have to get used to enemy attack patterns and find the best way to avoid them, in this game I mostly had to avoid the enemies themselves while projectiles came in very simple patterns. The first boss battles, after the random enemies stopped appearing were my favorite parts, despite being easy. The biggest challenge for me was trying to spot the stars during levels.

Story: 3/4
Simple and horribly cliche, I can't say I hated it though. The characters talking during boss battles was a nice touch, even if their lines were forgettable.

Other: 3/4
The game can be a fun time waster, my main problem with it is that it felt repetitive and the boss battles were a bit dull. My advice would be to focus more on giving enemies (especially the bosses) more complex attacks instead of just increasing their numbers.

Hi thanks for the feedback and review i will have all those improvements in mind

I got about half way through it before stopping. This isn't really a bullet hell... (well maybe for the enemies it is...) I upgraded the magnet and luck straight off the bat, and made so much money that by the time I got to the second boss I was so op, that I killed him before he could even finish his intro. Every level I just mowed down everything before they could even get on the screen, I don't think any enemies ever got a chance to shoot a bullet at me after lvl 5. For what it was, the game was fun up until the point that I became invincible.
