Reviews for "Alula Falling #3"

I love this series!!!!!!!!!!!
...yeah, there's nothing else to say :)

Interesting that the new heart high school has a masonic square and compass in it..pretty neat

How strange. I thought this series is supposed to be linear. I mean, there is a surrender option. The protagonist is basically unstoppable. Not that of a big deal but it is always nice to have some control over the story. At least in this eps because... reasons. Anyway, block is still the way to go because I don't have another option. It is either block or die. Really looking forward to more gameplay and story. Oh and since enemies don't block, charge is OP, twice the damage for the same mp. That is until I found out that charge+crit is 3x not 4x damage. It is downgraded to mildly OP.

I really like this series and the rest of your main games. I think it's really cool that all of your main series: Dead Detention, Chaos Girl, Chronicle Bulletin, Luna Destiny, Dead Detention 2 and Alula Falling, are connected with each other and that there are so many links between them (although they are pretty obvious) and that there's actually a proper timeline between the games. I just hope that at some point in the future, after all the main series are finished, you could do a game where all the main characters from the games meet, but that might be a bit much. I also really like the simplistic, anime-like art style and the self-awareness in some of the series that a lot of the characters have in your games. It gives your characters more of a personality and makes them relatable in a way that does not exist in a lot of other games. I also really like the normal speech, interspersed with text speech and the occasional emoji character face in some of your games. It adds a bit of extra humour, thx m8. Thanks for allowing me to engage in a proper game with a story that keeps you interested without having that tl;dr quality about it. Keep up the good work!

About the game itself, I really like the story and the game play although I miss some of the quick-time events that are featured in some of your other games that keep you engaged in the story. I'm also fairly sure that Star is Stella from Ending 4 in Chaos Christmas. I like the battles and the attacks, reminiscent of Chaos Girl attacks, but the battles tend to be: survive first blasts by blocking until opponent's mana has depleted, attack with a main attacks and block intermittently to get back your mana so you can heal and attack. The attacks you use also seem to have less damage comparatively despite being a higher level than every opponent that you face. I also don't think it's right that some attacks have higher damage than the others, especially with the resistance / weakness thing although I do understand that the attacks that come later have to be better in order to defeat the harder enemies. I enjoy the resistances and weaknesses themselves, but I think what would make it better would be for each of them to have its own name written next to it. Otherwise the battles are fun and challenging. I don't understand why others think that the KILL / SPARE is not useful as in Alula Falling #5, when it's Friday and you face off against Sara, you will probably have the choice to kill or spare her. Looking forward to #4!

By the way sorry it's so long. It was supposed to be short but it turned into a small essay. Apologies. Also sorry if there's anything I missed out (although to be honest I think it's long enough as it is).

The battle system was intresting, however I found myself either spamming recharge and attacking or blocking the attacks :P perhaps lower that block rating? Other than that It was a great short story :)
