Good job, it really needs sound, and just to let you know, when the user pushes ENTER on the keyboard it adds to the length of the Snake. You might want to fix that too.
Nice Update for a Classic Game
This was a pretty cool updated version of Snake. Nothing upser cool about this version, but the background music was definitely a nice touch. I wish that there were more features like special power-up apples or poison apples or something, but that could all be added in later. Extra game options like speed control and level select would also be cool. This was pretty fun. Nice efforts by the author.
great snake game
i program some, and i made a snake game in c++. one thing i noticed with this is that if you click a direction and then another direction too quickly, you can override the first direction you pressed. At least it seems that way. You should check your code and make sure that you can't change your direction decision in the split second before the snake actually makes its move. Well...
This was ok but it had way to many bugz... For one 1. it suddenly just said i died and "You Suck" when i didnt even hit anything! I was just going in the middle of the screen and it said i died. 2. The snake stayed on the screen when i crashed... Dont have the dead bodys stay! 3. The game locks up a lot and i have a T3 modem! Well those are the bugs i found :( Work on it a little and it might be ok!
