i love games as an art, as a way to tell a story. i think, without any dialogue, you've succeeded in telling me a story. maybe everyone interpreted your story a little differently, but we all got it. the music accompanies this game very well, and i very much enjoyed the art. i loved the bit at the end asking what the game is about (i answered loss) and i hope to see more like this from you. thank you for the experience. please continue to do what you love

Have you read Maus? The use of a mouse as the game's protagonist was an instant giveaway for the theme. In fact, during my first playthrough, I was struck by the fact that the character with the gun was a dog and not a cat. I love that the game asks for the player's interpretation (and would be curious to see what variety of answers you got), but the parallels between this and a very widely read piece of literature on the Holocaust were perhaps too strong. Not sure if this was your intention. Lovely art. Nice choice of background music (eerie in a subtle way). Still wondering about the numbers in the newspaper.
