Reviews for "March of a Prideless Victory 2"

This is a story, not a song.

A single drummer in front of an army marching on, hitting his lil snare drum as he walks. Without fear or consideration of his surroundings, he marches on.

Artillery blasts away the regiments behind him, death, shrapnel, fire, noise, and blood everywhere around him. He marches on beating his snare.

Canon balls and bullets fly past his face, and with the look of solid determination, he marches on. A frightening look in his eyes, saying 'I don't fear death', very scary, and sad at the same time, just glaring at only what is in front of him.

He has walked close enough to stare the enemy brigades in their eyes, and they all stare back. Their eyes saying confusion, fear, anger. He realizes the enemy fire has stopped, so he finally stops. The music falls quiet, all is silent. He finally looks back, turning his entire body, only to find not a single comrade, whether it be friend or family, had survived. Piles of bodies, lead, and dirt lay everywhere behind him.

Now he finally looks in front of him again, yet again glaring in the eyes of his enemies. They had killed everyone he had cared and loved, but his eyes lay empty, he doesn't know what to think.

After several minutes of piercing the eyes and hearts of his enemies, who just stand there, rifles and canons loaded, doing nothing. He tales out his revolver, but nobody reacts, they let him be.

He shoots himself in the head, right between his now hollow, empty eyes.

The enemy go to his body to clean up the mess that the battle had made. They life his body, to see something that puts everyone in shock, skin even lighter than their cotton undershirts.

In his dieing moment, he had smiled. They took off the body to be burned with the rest, all with the look of fear and frustration burned into their muscles before death, except one.

One of the corpses had smiled before he killed himself. He had known exactly what the outcome of the battle would be all along.

This is swarming in my head now, a mini movie ^_^

Goukisan responds:

Even more so than my Rock Orchestra songs I was afraid nobody would appreciate these songs.

I really love the newgrounds community for their open mind.

Goukisan responds:
