Reviews for "Welcome to Winkletown"

Really really good job here guys. Some of the descriptions are rather up to interpretation, like the age to retire, but overall it's through enough and a very good game.

It took me a while to get a hang of the clues but once I did it was really easy. After I reached the top rank I realized what a "unique" winkle is. They seem to be absolutely random as far as location and is really no way to track how many there are or how many you've already found. Once I found one and it reappeared the game would almost freeze. The inspection page would not come all the way in and I had to use the map to travel to another location to clear the error. Outside of that, I couldn't find anything wrong with the game. It was fun and the player gets a feeling of satisfaction from sending the bad guy to Jail. I loved the comedy snip-its from the criminal's last words. All in all, I would recommend this game to others. Thanks for uploading.

Chaz responds:

Thanks - we'll look into that issue you mentioned. Glad you enjoyed the game!

Very good idea. I love the music and the idea of reliability on clues. You really have to decide if this is really the person you want to arrest.

I love this game. Have played about three days straight so far. Great concept. I find some of the body types confusing, is 'buff' the same as "has chest muscles?" Also, the way some of the characters costumes are drawn it is tough to tell if they are buff or not.

Chaz responds:

When I have the time I plan on making a strategy guide for the game. Keep an eye on my Facebook page if you're interested as that's where I'll be posting it! That will explain a lot.

I love the layout and the concept but I'm having a hell of a time trying to decipher what the clues mean... the pictures don't really look familiar in terms of what the characters look like. Sometimes the description contains things about the appearance that I don't see at all, and I understand that would make it TOO easy, but it's mostly guess work and not so much logic right now in my experience. Love the voice acting and the art, but I wish the connection between the descriptions, the clues, and the characters was a bit easier to follow.
