Reviews for "Word Play 3"

dear Munguia

Simple, fun from start to end, and it even can get quite funny and get quaintly cringeworthy at times. Well done. Great time killer. Easy to the eyes and easy to use interface and gameplay. Although I'd like to nitpick and I apologize if I do but there's no menu. Well technically theres a loading screen but It would be more convenient if you have a level select menu for the convenience for those who failed to get pass the whole game. Also I'd like to indicate the jumbled words and spaces that are already giving too much hints to make this game a bit easy. Also the puzzle pieces are a bit buggy. When I double click or accidentally double click on it near a blank piece, I get two errors. Well its a minor thing but it bothered me for quite a bit. Despite these minor flaws, games good and a great time killer.

Nice pictures, though not a single medal is working

This is, decent I suppose. The puns are decently clever, the art is decently drawn as well, but two things really bug me: Dragging the letters and the music. I hoped I could just click the letter and it'd go in the next available slot, and you could discard the letter by clicking it again, but I guess not. As for the music, I'm not sure whether it's the fact that it's not all that interesting or it's a 8 second loop. Maybe more songs or more variety in the song itself would've helped? Not bad though, keep it up.

The puzzles were clever and I enjoyed figuring them out. The art style was cute. Things that would have improved the experience for me:
* Tiles being "magnetized" and clicking into place.
* a limited number of hints - when I "lost" I had no idea what the puzzle was. Something like placing one of the letters in the correct place for the cost of one "hint"
* A sense of progression - knowing that I had completed 5/20 puzzles or something. I had no idea how close to the end or "beating the game" I was when I lost

You're just going to keep me amused throughout the COVID insanity, aren't you?

Another fun one, but the click-and-drag letter placement method was a genuine drag. Because I found a few ("Smash Device" leaps to mind) where I knew the second word but wasn't sure of the first, I don't think typing the correct response is the answer. Maybe clicking individual letters, then the spots where they should go would be best.
