Reviews for "Halfling Tycoon"

I wanted to play further and missclicked on "new game". There is no safety question for this, it instantly reset all my saved data and i started directly a new game. It also saved automatically so it wasnt possible to get my data back.

There are also bugs, if you have your Trading post, gambling/city hall and so on open, you click on "Conquer" and fight against the enemy, you cant close the windows! You have to leave the game and restart. This was the reason i missclicked on "New Game". So after this, all was gone. I dont want to play this game again.

I enjoyed it, it has a good look.

But I have some problems. You generate wood, stone and food, but your own halflings cannot use any of them - maybe if wood or stone was required for certain upgrades.

If halfling population consumed some of the food.( 3 units per day, twice if they are put to work )

If say the gold mine were raided by goblins

I liked it it was fun. the trade is a bit op but still fun.

Just abuse the stock market and figure around the one hit kill aspect of most bosses and you're golden. You have to have a sacrificial first wave to whittle down the life to about a quarter, then unload on them with the second.

I did enjoy this, but a few thoughts....
- Trading is OP. Once you unlock the trading post you can pretty much sit there for 10 mins and trade up all the money you need to finish the game. Just buy wood/food when it's at 10 and sell when it's at 40/30.
- Combat is unrewarding. Figuring out the "stops" just costs troops, no real strategy to it.
- Difference in troops is deceiving. You think there would be a point to buying several different units, but I beat all bosses with just buying out the gunner.
- Plantation is OP. There is no reason to buy any other construction upgrade. You get megabux clicking for the plantation and selling the food - even more than if you go for stone.

Overall this game could use a lot of balancing to be truly fun, but it was nonetheless amusing and had adorable graphics. 7/10.
