Reviews for "Dead Detention 2 #2"
Erm, wait a sec, Shia's alive AND this is supposed to be after Chronicle Bullitin, which you said happens after Dead Detention AND Chaos Girl in Chronicle Bulletin's first episode?
I did a bit of research though. Based on Ami enrolling into New Heart High (the Chronicle Bulletin school) during Dead Detention 1's episode 3.5, the first episode of Chaos Girl saying that Ami was there for a few weeks (being 14 to 28 days) before the events of Chaos Girl really happened and the Dead Detention 1 after story happening 1 month after the other episodes, I can believe Chaos Girl happened before Chronicle Bulletin (I thought you once said Chronicle Bulletin starts up before Chaos Girl happens though...).

Some possible plot holes though:
1. Chaos Girl must have happened only a day or two after Dead Detention's after story. Otherwise, Naomi's/Sora's dad wouldn't have been at Zone Zero to get killed my Ami when she set the armageddon children free. I'm hoping you didn't accidentally say somewhere that Naomi's/Sora's dad died in Chaos Girl ep. 2, THEN flew to Japan. That would be at least a little screwy.
2. Wasn't Chaos Girl ep. 3 supposed to be the end of the world? At the minimum, wouldn't that mean New Heart High and who know how much more got destroyed by the time Shia blew up like a nuke in ending 4, which you said is supposed to be the real ending? I'm hoping you fully explain what really happened after the events of Chaos Girl in one of the upcoming Chronicle Bulletin/Dead Detention 2 episodes, including how much was rebuilt after all that happened.
3. How the HECK did Shia survive self destructing??? Was the dark ritual at the very end of Chaos Girl ep. 3 ending 4 some dark resurrection?
4. Part of my research includes noticing a Commander Dai being the head of Zone Zero in Chaos Girl and a Doctor Dai being the person who emailed Mr. Noom about the enhanced zombie virus in episode 1 of Dead Detention 2. I'm assuming the Doctor Dai mentioned there is Mrs. Dai, Sora's/Naomi's mom or aunt or uncle? If not, either Clear Moon revives people a lot or you keep forgetting that they're dead...

And here's the sense I made out of Universe .08's timeline:
Dead Detention 1 happens first (until a "clear moon origins" series or something belonging before these events shows up). The last episode ends 42 hours plus up to a month later, supposedly as early as 2 weeks later (to stay true to Chaos Girl happening a "few weeks after Ami enrolled at New Heart High," as the player character in Chaos Girl (the guy you name yourself) says).
Chaos Girl probably happens immediately after Dead Detention 1's after story. It all happens in a single day.
Chronicle Bulletin, like you said, happens a year after Chaos Girl. Sounds legit now that I've done a bit of research on Universe .08's timeline. I originally thought it started just before Chaos girl and was going to end about when Chaos Girl ends.
Dead Detention 2 undeniably happens after Chaos Girl. Naomi said "it's been 3 months since [something happened to Sora]", so 3 months after Chronicle Bulletin must be when this happens.
Luna Destiny (which I still haven't seen yet) is the furthest in the timeline, being 3 years after Chronicle Bulletin (and at least 33 months after Dead Detention 2).
The moon king mentioning Shia was a MASSIVE red flag to me that the story was getting screwy, but hopefully the plot holes get filled and things get straightened out.
Oh, and this episode was as good as always aside from Shia being brought up.

I think this may be the longest game in the series. Then again, it may just be because the gameplay was redundant. It is still quite good. It's great to have all these anime references. I don't even recognize most of them. It's great that you acknowledge how obscure they are.
I'm a bit familiar with some of them because I've heard them referenced in other places. The music was as good as ever. I thought that guy's name was Snoke? Maybe it was another character? Here's to Episode VII being good.
