Very Good.
People are saying this is a clone of KTANE, but I'd argue that this game has enough of its own identity to stand apart. Yes - similar concept to KTANE, but with it's own unique feel. KTANE is more segmented, like the players are completing a collection of minigames, whereas your game Defuse it! is more unified and has a Papers, Please taste. "...go through THE MANUAL Comrade. Defuse bomb. Glory to Arstotzka."
This is good game. Even though there are gamest that are played like this, it doesn't mean that this is crap.
The game itself is quite well done. I managed to complete easy and normal, but I'm yet unable to complete hard. That is because the provided instructions seem to have conflict with the game. Sometimes the given instructions can't be used, for example: instructions tell me to turn main power on even though it is already on and this is the only thing that instructions tell me to do. So basically, sometimes the instructions tells me to do something I'm not able to do. As I mentioned, this problem has yet occurred only in hard-mode.
I do understand that this game is still in beta, but given instructions must not be in conflict with the game. If I can't do as instructed or if doing as instructed leads to detonation, there is something badly wrong. Yet there is potential to this game and is quite enjoyable yet short in easy and medium.
Even though I enjoy this game I simply can't give more than 3,5 stars. That's only because contradiction between game and instructions. If the game worked perfectly with given instructions, I would have given it a solid 5.
A perfect simulator. Gives you the goosebumps when the seconds hit below 20.
Also great to play two player.
