Reviews for "Can't Escape the Madness"
This animation was so fluid and satisfying that I felt my eyes didn't need to focus on anything at all. I was able to naturally follow the animation without any thought and that was a very nice experience.
You not only stayed true to the quality and nature of the Madness series, but even added some unique Halloween (and personal?) style. I particularly enjoyed the reanimated corpses, and the funny scene where the dismembered corpse tried to piece itself back together again and fight at the same time.
I noted that there was an attempt to execute a level of eerie creepiness with the (masked?) character popping in and out between frames, and appreciated that haunting element. However I feel like you could have done more with that, as it felt very lacking in effect - you could have made him much more psychotic and insane to really put the viewer on edge. With added effects and scenes, the haunting effect would've really made your ending jump scare notable, otherwise it just seems a bit cliche (and honestly not so scary).
Graphics/Cinematics = 5.5/5 (Honestly, it was just eye candy)
Sound/Music = 4.5/5 (Could've done with heavier music, or more haunting sound effects)
Content/Story = 4.5/5 (Again, could've done more to spook the hell out of me, but great ending!)
All in all, well worth the time. Please keep gracing us with such incredible work!
