Reviews for "The Finger Eater - Chapter 1"

let me tell you this , this animation is amazing it has atmosphere it feels more of a suspense like whether or not she will stay caged up in her own fear or will she let it out and take a chance. I give 10/10 love it, it has symbol, story and a slow and steady atmosphere.
ps love the art hehe great choice of sound and voice acting <3

Will there be more?!

The strange game show announcer really reminded me of the scene in Silent Hill 2 when James and Maria are in the elevator at the hospital.

TheFabs responds:

There will be more, yes, and the game show guy was indeed inspired by Silent Hill 2's elevator scene.

I went into this a little put off by the title, but not jugging a book by it's cover is a good skill to have.
I watched it and it was fantastic, the animation was good and the voice acting was great, but the atmosphere was superb.
I love the design of the main character and the monster (Red I would assume it's name to be, looks somewhat Lovecraftian with the forehead mouth, just a little).
Over all I would kill to see the next one come out. I'll be waiting.

the sell your soul angle never gets old especially these days it is still relevant & the bully angle lots of ppl if not all of us can relate to it in some form or another & if some demon, spirit, ghost etc. made us a similar offer back then we might be tempted this was very well made & i look forward to seeing the rest of the series :)

Really great job! This is clearly something that's had a lot of thoughtful writing, time and quality put into it. I didn't feel like it was slow paced at all, the pace perfectly matched the tension and narration. I wasn't bored or disinterested through the whole of the eight minutes, which is impressive because that's a long time for an animated short.

Very nicely written, great atmosphere and has me eagerly waiting for Part 2. Best of luck with the Spooktacular!
