Kooool

This song put me through a ton of unexpierienced emotions. It makes me feel like I don't matter, and nothing does. It just doesn't make sense how one song is like an open gateway to a whole new universe, it just makes me feel so little. This doesn't really give me death or sleeping vibes unlike most probably, but instead I feel like I am a useless particle floating through a universe like ours except nothing has happened or will happen. Basically, like everything in the world is useless and means nothing as one day it will all be nothing completely. This song gives me anxious feeling, and anxiety is usually fear for the future, which is probably why it makes me think of how everthing will one day be nothing. It also gives you vibes of uncontrollable floating, as if you were nothing.

why 20 mins

Cacola responds:

Idk go ask Jon Anderson

Huh, I can regognize your style even if Lit Fuse was the only song by you I have heard before.

The song has a very compelling, but also very lengthy intro. The chord progression is cool, but very similar to Lit Fuse. I like that quiet melodic noise thingy emerging at the 1 minute mark. I like the part where you introduce beats for the first time. The progression is very cool, the 9 minute mark especially. The noise part is very interesting, quiet but getting more and more unsettling. WHAT THE FUCK THAT PART IS CURSED HELP!!! My musical taste is vast enough to appreciate that within a musical context though. The part at the 14 minute mark is extremely relieving and I love how it progresses afterwards. Nooo, it fades away :(. Ah, there it is, that quiet melodic noise thingy is back (19 minute mark). The last minute is the most epic part.

The song really seems like it tries to tell me a story, but it depends on the person what the story is. Like the most original song I have ever heard, I feel like you actually put your heart to this and tried to express your emotions in this piece. Even if it the mixing isn't the best, I value this song for its melancholy. It's also the piece that has introduced me to ambient techno (next to Geometry Dash Menu Theme). Amazing job!

Btw what is the inner meaning of the title? And what defines good noise music? How can one organize completely random and out-of-nowhere sound well enough to call it music?

EDIT: The love reaction is for Cacola's reply, not for myself.

Mid A tier

Cacola responds:

To me, the title represents finding yourself lost in death, with no recollection of who you were. Good noise music is all about texture, making sounds inharmonic is all about evoking emotion through the shape and feel of a sound. Listen to Merzbow's Hybrid Noisebloom for a prime example of this.

thank u very much btw!

god damn, this song literally changed my life. on this day every year, i always make sure to come back to this song, and it's just as exhilarating and beautiful as when i first listened to it so long ago.

everything that you've done here is perfect. i really don't know what to say.
