Good concept and start for a game engine. maybe tweak the feel of the control response slightly and polish up your graphics... this would make for a good game.
does not run smoothly.
i have a great computer. sometimes it'll run smoothly. sometimes jittery.
and all my deaths were due to that.
i'd smoke this pos, but it's not worth my time with this issue.
Controls are bad, the screen wipe after death takes far too long.
The idea of making a sequel is keeping what was good with the first part AND improve what was wrong with it. You kept the main idea of the first part, I saw that, but when it comes to the improvement part... YOU DID EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE! In the first part the controls were slow-responsive, in this they're even worse: when you land from a jump, the character freezes por a second, and if you're landing on a falling platform that means DEATH. But everyone has already talked about the controls; that's not the major problem of the game. The major problem are the GODDAMN DEAD PIXELS: If you are touched by accident by a spare's dead pixel or a laser's dead pixel or a saw's dead pixel you instantly die and it looks like you just explode out of nowhere! That becomes really frustrating.
