Reviews for "Constellation"

Great job, beautiful work!

Excellent little physics game , which I have just completed. I might have done it faster if I hadn't stopped for a couple of tea breaks.
Initially the goal isn't clear, and that was a little off putting. Adding a "How to Play" to the main menu, and giving it more graphic instructions, would have let me get to grips with the game faster(making the tips section more into a reminder section).
Using Enter (or E) to shoot feels a bit counter intuitive, as I would have preferred to use the space bar (perhaps R could have been used to reset the screen). The spacebar is easier to reach and more satisfying to tap.
Having to click both to move the screen, and shoot, did get in my way at times. I sometimes moved when I wanted to shoot or vice versa, I instead might suggest using the middle mouse button (when held down) to scroll.
If the co-ordinates in the bottom left were labelled, then they might have been more useful.
Although the volume slider is nice, an addition mute button simply to toggle sound on and off, would be nice (trying to click to the very end of the slider is a tiny bit awkward)

Most of this is pretty minor stuff, but the actual game is damn good. I love the map, the colours are pretty, and it has lots of charm, as well as a satisfying difficulty. The openness of the game is lovely, and the fact I shoot from level to level, or star to star, however I please, is very satisfying. The overall feel of the game is superb.

I would certainly play it again, and if I were to save it locally, I'd be playing it fullscreen, because the game deserves it. It is a work of art.
Even with my list of improvements, I have no qualms about giving you 4 stars. (That's as high as any of my ratings have gone so far, be honoured).

Well done. I'll be keeping and eye on you, and looking forward to what you make next.

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback!

I am in the process of addressing some of the issues you (and others) have raised regarding the lack of clear objectives when the game begins. I also really like your suggestions regarding modifications to the controls, and will be implementing most of those as well. They make much more sense than my original controls. Again, thank you!

Great design

This game is challenging but not impossible. Most connections are fairly easy but to complete a constellation you need to think and make use of the surrounding holes.
Also the addition of the sun as the 'secret' constellation is well done.

A well deserved 5 stars for this game!

I love this game! It is very hard at times, make no mistake, it will take time to complete. But it is worth it. The idea is very unique and well implemented. I does lag sometimes, but I think it's because the mechanics of the game are more complex then what you see. The use of gravitational forces and teleportation combined is something you don't see on Newgrounds. I would love to see something like this on Steam.
