Reviews for "Don't Do Anything Stupid."

*Snicker*

Cute little prank. I like the look of the game, actually. Very surreal, creepy and silly at the same time, and the music and sound effects fit the events. Like the user below, I could probably come up with all sorts of psychological ramifications, but sometimes a joke is just that!

If you can get some better tools, I think you could expand this into a really effective horror/sci-fi/fantasy experience.

REALLY MEH! Sorry, but this was WAY too short... You didn't really do anything wrong but you didn't do anything amazing and I get this is a joke but the least you could've done is made different endings... Sorry... Don't wanna come off as harsh but this is REALLY bland...

At least I chose 2.5 stars not 1 or something like that...

solongshrimp responds:

Construct 2 limits the event sheets for free users :(
I wanted like 5 endings but given my tools I wanted to keep it simple. It's not supposed to be amazing but I'm sorry if it bored you.

spoiler alert don't do anything stupid

This left me entirely unimpressed. Nothing really to do, and I'm not sure about the message. Are you suggesting that doing what is ostensibly stupid will achieve desired outcomes?

solongshrimp responds:

The game is literally a joke my dad came up with, there's no message. I made it in a month with a free version of Construct 2, the point is that it's short and simple and to the point.

I think this game is a brilliant look into the psychology of a young adult and how they commonly want to resist the advice of their elders. It comments on how the limited awareness of the youngster impairs their judgement and makes them commit acts which they initially thought was positive which ruins their lives. Only those with the courage to select the less obvious pathways in life end up benefiting in the end. Pure genius!

. . .or it's just a silly game where silly stuff happens.
