Reviews for "Kitten Room Escape"

What do you make your games with? I wish there was a game-creation software that made sense to me. Every one I get that I can understand DIES No shit. Like, the developer stops making it.
AdventureMaker was PERFECT for me, I UNDERSTOOD IT. I was about to buy it and go to town. But, the devs stopped making it. We all know it. But the forum keeps dreaming. This sucks. Where are the affordable, TRUE visual-learner, hot-spot software programs???
Loved this kittens in this one, and the fact you can see where you used jpegs? great stuff. It's a signature of yours that works well. ;)))) Been with you for a long time. Intend to stay. See ya later.

Nice game.. Not enough "point", too many clicks...

Simple and amusing but pretty much the same that Panda Room Escape

This is not really an escape game, or at least I dont think it is... just finding random stuff does not make a game an escape game, even if in the end you escape a room
To make a good escape game, you will in general need good and challenging puzzles, not a simple "find this and this item" (although certain puzzles CAN revolve around that, but it has to make sense
That does not mean that the game is utterly bad for a flash game, just waaaay too simple, and calling it an escape game actually counts as a mistake
Btw a little backstory would also be appreciated, and sometimes the music just randomly stops... even though the music is actually pleasant to hear, if a bit generic
for the next one, I would recommend keeping this kind of graphic, just adding simple puzzles and maybe a bit more story to make it a less simple game... such a game would then deserve probably a 6 or even 7/10
For now, I dont think it deserves more than 4/10, and I'm being generous because there isn't any actual problem with the game, except that it just feels very empty

EscapeFan responds:

Thanks for your thoughts. The game's story is in the description. About this game, every developer has a different style. Ainars have this, really not too difficult, but this is that most of the players like. And they really love these games, there are a lots of fans, who can't wait to play the new ones. If you are those kind, who would like more challenge and thinking, please skip these games and very soon we will start making thinking and logic-based escape games too with another developer.

Game play is generic. One anchor located on the oven was particularly hard to find.
