I love this game:
-The music is pleasant and works very well with every level, I really enjoy how the music and scenery effects change depending on the map...
-It's a nice skill based game, some levels are frustrating, but when you finish them, you feel like the king of the word!
-Visuals are beautiful too.
One of the few games I actually bothered to finish, so it's a 5 to me!
I had a lot of fun playing Globexplorer. It was certainly worth the click, time & effort. But I don't think that it's perfect. The game took me 739 (game clock) to complete all 20 levels, and I suck at skill-based games. So the difficulty may be a little too easy. Here's some more issues that I picked up playing this game....
- On the menu screen, it says "New Game" when it should be saying "Play Game" because there is no game to resume.
- There's no sound effects in this game - without the music it would be extremely quiet.
- Lacking content: there should be more levels, or there should be a harder difficulty game mode.
The game got me wanting more. I like what's there, but wasn't satisfied because it didn't give enough, and it's hard to determine how much this should impact the score because it may have been intentional. Regardless, this game earns a sequel!
The final verdict for Glovexplorer is a 6 out of 10 - Slightly above average. I very much would like to play more done by whoever made this game, and hopefully give them a bigger score once they have more content.
