The sprites loked excellent and the animation was good especially when knuckles flew into sonic, but how about some sound effects? And the background looked a little.. stretched. Oh well I'm sure you'll fix this in the full version :)
Overall a pleasure to watch, well done!

That looks quite good when will the full thing be ready i know its a lot to say because flash doe's take a while to make.
