Reviews for "Elsa x Jack Frost - Don't let it go!"

This game was all right, although the adult version was...heh.

Also, I've noticed how none of the Adult rated games you make have medals, and I'm curious. Are 'A' rated games not allowed to have them?

Ferdafs responds:

No, it's not that. I just think it's pointless to earn the same medal twice. Since anyone can play the 13+ I only add the medals there.

I want more. Chapter 2 please
:P

I'm not sure how to respond to you on the review board of the +18 version, so I hope it's not inconvenient that I do so here.

I quite like this version, and it's a shame that it has less ratings than the adult content one (I'm going to go out on a limb here and acknowledge that some people are shallow).

In response to your actual reply:

"We have a few things to say that might help you get over your confusion. This game is fully fanmade, it's pretty much just fanart with a few lines and it is FULLY FREE."

Oh, so then it's not like the marketed Jelsa games in other areas of the internet; those are questionable.

"And It is true that Jack may have died at 14 but the creators themselves take him as older (17) . You can read in the trivia here : http://riseoftheguardians.wikia.com/wiki/Jack_Frost"

I'm not quite sure where it says the creators insinuate they take Jack as 17, but there are three interviews where the creator (which is William Joyce, who is the one only creator of this franchise) confirms Jack is 14:

This is also why the Wiki you linked me to puts 14 under his age bio with all three sources attached, not 17. The trivia, which I was a part of creating on this Wiki, was specifically made to show the conflicting typos often accidentally listed in RotG merchandise.

The reference of 17 came directly from the director William hired under him, and he stated, "I always thought 17..." to allude to an assumption, not the fact that he knew. Since, the DVD Featurette has since came out, it too made its featurette to exclusively clarify that Jack is 14.

"And even so in this game he is a spirit over 300 years old, quite older than Elsa even( just looks younger)."

Given that Arendelle is placed in the 1840s and Jack is born in the 1700s, he's definitely not chronologically over 300 years old in the video game. XD Though his chronological age actually bears no application except his biological one (14), because he is, after all, a non-living ghost, rather than an immortal figure like perhaps Edward Cullen.

Canonically speaking, the character Jack Frost has Peter Pan syndrome, which William also details, specifically in the Guardians of Childhood book and above interviews, and like Peter, Jack is always alluded to a "14 year old boy (for 300 years)" when spoken of. He was made 30 for 300 years in the first draft's storyboards, but was altered to 14 to make his mind 14 as well (DVD Featurette).

Peter Pan too was chronologically older than young Wendy, adult Wendy, and Wendy's own daughter by several decades, but like Jack Frost, he was forever stuck as a child both biologically and mentally, which is why he's paired off with the adolescent versions of both girls, as being biologically and mentally a child still makes him a child, so chronology has no bearing on that, but less so when a character is a spirit.

This game is so cute .. I need more !!

Ferdafs responds:

And more you shall have! As soon as we're done making it.... T.T

cute game!! I love the storyline and the artwork >w< Great job making this game :) I'm definitely waiting for chapter 2
